Vino Ibérico was created in 2013, under the impetus of the Ortega family, passionate and active in the wine world for over 15 years. With proven professional experience in the marketing of Rhône Valley wines, the concept of Vino Ibérico lies above all in the promotion of small, passionate producers who are keen to dispel the clichés about Spanish wines (frequently considered to be heady wines with massive tannins). From now on, it will be necessary to count on this new wave of Spanish winemakers who have decided, while respecting traditions, to mark their differences by the finesse and freshness of their wines. Vino Ibérico does not present itself as an exhaustive seller of Spanish wines, but rather as the ambassador of this new generation of forty-something winemakers who make subtle wines with a fresh and pure look.
